Liposuction is a medical treatment of Dermatologic Surgeons

Liposuction was mostly developed by dermatologists. The American Dermatologist, Doctor Klein introduced Tumescent Local-Anaesthesia, which is the most important development in Liposuction. This local anaesthesia makes it possible to have a gentle way to do surgery and also avoid bleeding and pain.

Also Dermatologists were the first to introduce university education & training in Liposuction in 1987 (Training in Liposuction from the Department of Dermatology of Tulane University, USA since 1987).
