Important Notes before a Liposuction

1. Do not drive for at least for 48 hours after the surgery !
2. Do not take any medication that influences the blood clotting like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Marcumar and Heparin ten days before and ten days after the surgery. If you take this medication because of medical reasons, please consult with your family doctor before you stop taking it.
3. Medication containing acetylsalicylic acid like Aspirin, Ibuprofen or Vitamin E may not be taken starting from the 10th day before surgery.
4. Medication prescribed by the family doctor, should be taken along and be shown to the physician.
5. Don´t drink alcohol two days before surgery also don´t smoke to many cigarettes.
6. Get yourself enough sleep.
7. Have a good breakfast in the morning. But please no dairy products.
8. Please wear comfortable clothes for surgery, like sport clothes.
9. Please don't lotion or powder your body on the day before the surgery.
